SL Benfica 1983-84 Retro Football Shirt

Swedish  coach Sven Goran Eriksson enjoyed a second year in Lisbon just as succesful as his first by ensuring that Benfica won back to back Primeiro Divisao titles.

Eriksson assembled a fine attacking unit starring Nené, Diamantino and the Dane Michael Maniche. All three hit double figures for the season and Nené was especially prolific with 30 goals in all competitions. European Cup progress was ended at the Quarter Final stage by eventual champions Liverpool.
