Nottingham Forest 1992-1993 Retro Football Shirt

Nottingham Forest began what was the inaugural season of the Premier League promisingly with a home victory over Liverpool, but this would be a difficult season for the club that would end in relegation and a return to the second tier for the first time since the 1970s. It would also mark the end of the long succesful reign of the club's iconic manager Brain Clough.

There was talent in the squad with players of the the calibre of Steve Stone, Nigel Clough, Stuart Pearce, Mark Crossley and a young Roy Keane, but the departed start Teddy Sheringham and Des Walker proved impossible to replace.
