Cork City FC 1984 Retro Football Shirt

It was an unusual state of affairs that there was no senior football club of note in the sizeable Irish town of Cork between 1940s and the 1980s. The 1984 creation of Cork City through the merger of a number of local teams changed that situation, and the club was duly elected into the League of Irland that same year.
