Eintracht Frankfurt 1971-72 Retro Football Shirt

The 1971-72 season brought a strong Bundesliga campaign for Eintracht Frankfurt which resulted in a 5th placed finish and qualification for the following season's Uefa Cup. Erich Ribbeck had crafted a side which scored and conceeded goals freely and boasted a highly effective group of great attacking players.

Bernd Nickel was famous for his spectacular long-range goals while regular internationals Bernd Hölzenbein and Jürgen Grabowski brought skill, power and guile to Frankfurts forward play.
